Stores Associate – Job Description.

SafeTech USA is adding a Stores Associate to our team at our HUMBLE location, dayshift M-F 7-4 pm

The Stores Associate will need to perform a wide range of inventory activities to support the efficient operation of the HUMBLE location.

Primary Duties include:

Stock shelves with received parts.
Pull parts from shelves using very specific pick tickets.
Prepare items for shipping as necessary.
Continually organize warehouse space.
Conduct weekly cycle counts on inventory.
Maintain a highly accurate inventory.

Duties as needed:

Partner with the Purchasing team to order parts and supplies as needed.
Serve as the primary liaison between your clients (internal and external).
Support the facility & purchasing manager as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, scanning, and the ability to learn new software programs related to function.
Self-starter.
Detail-oriented.
Highly organized.
Ability to prioritize multiple requests.
Team-oriented.
Clear communication skills.
Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.

This position requires the following physical and mental demands consisting of, but not limited to the following:

Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, and files.
